Hi, I’m Shannon. I’m on my third year of being a pottery beginner, and I write about playing with clay and my studio highs, lows, and woes.

By day, I’m a brander/marketer. By night, a potter. Most of my free time is spent in the studio, practicing throwing bigger, shap-ier, and lately, mini-er pieces on my Small Ceramics tiny wheel. On my blog, potterybeginners.com, I’m on a mission to make pottery more accessible to beginners and get the pottery party started.

Outside the studio, I love walking my tiny beagle, Chai, drinking too much matcha, burying my head in books, cross-stitching, doing morning yoga, and baking gluten-free goodies.
